Grow Like A Pro: Preparing For San Diego Water Restrictions
This week on The Home Pro Show, Tiger Palafox from Mission Hills Nursery warned us that San Diego water restrictions could be a reality in the near future.
Last time this happened, water usage was designated by house number. For example, even numbered houses were able to water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while odd numbered houses were allowed to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Now is a great time to revisit your landscaping situation, find any potential problems and learn how you can conserve water.
Drip systems, micro-sprayer systems an other low-flow systems were exempt from water usage restrictions the last time the Water Authority enforced regulation, and can be the perfect water-saving solution if you’re particular about the way you manage your landscaping.
