Home remodeling is a big investment and choosing a company to work with is an important decision. The experience of the contractor should be a major factor. Quality of work, warranty and a fair price have to be considered, but the customer experience is something that many homeowners may take for granted.

For my company and me, the client experience has been the foundation of our success for more than 40 years. A contractor should pay attention to a client’s budget and lifestyle goals, and making sure the scope of work is written and explained clearly so there are no misunderstandings.

They should do their due diligence to provide accurate pricing, and as a homeowner, you should receive great communication from start to finish, so you are never in the dark. As a company, standing behind your work with a strong warranty and being there after the job is done is what makes a great client experience. When interviewing companies for any home improvement, it`s the team that works for you who are the difference makers. If you choose the right team, remodeling should be a fun, stress free, very rewarding experience.
