TV shows make remodeling look easy and it’s probably tempting to tackle a major remodeling project on your own to save money. The risk is costly mistakes, cost overruns, poor workmanship and not finishing the work.
That’s why having an experienced project manager leading your remodeling project is so important. The Project Manager is usually your main point of contact once the building permit is issued, interfacing with you during the entire course of your project.
He or she is the person who handles everything work related including maintaining a safe and secure site, scheduling work, making sure materials arrive on time, meeting inspectors, job walks with clients and quality control. The project manager is the main person responsible to see your job through to final inspection in a timely manner, keeping you well informed throughout the entire process.
With an experienced project manager at your side, remodeling is stress-free.
